Energy Drain saps enemies’ kinetic barrier power to boost your shields.
Use the Systems Skill to make an attack versus an opponent’s Athletics or System Skill. Every Shift generated against an opponent’s defense roll reduces their shields by one which in turn can be used to replenish the attacker’s shields up to their normal maximum.
When Energy Drain is used against unshielded Geth and other synthetics with the ELECTROMAGNETIC VULNERABILITY disadvantage it acts as a Weapon 2 Attack. Each point of Stress damage caused increases the attacker’s shields by 1 up to their maximum.
- HEAVY ENERGY DRAIN
Your energy drain is much more disruptive to synthetics causing unparalleled damage. For an additional Refresh the damage to unshielded synthetics is increased by 2 Stress for a maximum of Weapon 4.
- AREA DRAIN
You can greatly widen your energy drain’s radius to easily hit multiple targets. The attack targets everything in an area for a point of Refresh.
